It Has Come To My Attention

I realize now, my faithful readers, that I have been neglecting you. You spend your days, and possibly nights, wondering, is Craig OK? What is he up to? I must know more. And I appreciate that. I truly do. If I had a gilded placard, I would have your name inscribed on it. So as to quell any rising cries of abandonment, I will tell you what I have done recently, even if it is not so interesting. I have made mix CDs, and given them to people. Not in exchange for anything, just to do something nice.

Room Showing Today

I went over to Daly City to look at a room today.  It was a nice room.  The rest of the apartment was OK, and the back yard was pretty sweet.  I got an application.  But that’s not what this is about.  This is about the landlady.  Oh, what a very nice lady.  I showed up at quarter to five (4:45) in the evening.  She answered the door with her hand on top of her head in some funny way.  The first thing she said was, “I got a brush stuck in my hair this morning.” (Emphasis mine).  It was not, in my opinion, something you could do accidentally.  The thing looked knotted all in there, as if it were done intentionally.  She was a very nice lady, very artsy (she paints, and she’s an actor). While it’s not the greatest apartment in the world, it would be doable.  We’ll see what happens.  I hope when I return to her the application, she’s managed to get the brush out of her hair.
