Real Update(?)

31 August, 2007 · 4 Comments

So how about a real update now? Below the fold…

I have completed my first week of classes. I have moved into my new apartment. I have a new bike.

Classes:

<Redacted>

Apartment:

I have moved in. I have no furniture. I sleep on the floor. Two nights ago, someone put on the deadbolt, and I couldn’t get in, because they also didn’t hear me knocking. It was an accident, and they felt terrible about it when they found out. Plus, now I can say I’ve slept on the streets of San Francisco.

Bike:

I have a new bike. A Nishiki, from the 80s. A Japanese import, mine was made by the companies original designer, and was imported by West Coast Cycle, according to the serial number and imprint. It’s a single speed drop down handle bar road bike. It is beautiful, and rides like a dream. I have a couple tweaks to make it perfect, but, le sigh.

Poetry Surprise:

Poetry is like a Prozac beam, that transmogrifies and transports the idea of the poem from one person to another. A Prozac beam, damn it. I really wish I were the one who thought of that.
