So, this was my flying experience. I get there early enough to breeze through check-in, security, and all that. Then, at boarding time, my flight was all of a sudden canceled. Not before. There was no explanation, either. It was just canceled at the last minute. So I go to the ticket counter to see how I get to my second flight out of La Guardia. Oh, just take the 1:30 Delta flight. On us. They say. I ask if my luggage needs to be brought to Delta, or if US Airways will bring it over. Oh, we’ll get it there for you. As I am passing through security (AGAIN, mind you), I (and several other US Airways passengers directed to this flight) were selected for further screening. When it is my turn, they just pass right by all my stuff and go to the next person. Not once. Not twice. Three times! So I get to La Guardia, and I have to take my luggage and catch the bus. Remember how I said they told me they’d get the luggage? Well, it wasn’t at La Guardia. So I try and catch the bus to the terminal where my flight is at. GUESS WHO DOESN’T EVEN STOP? If you said “Bus driver” than you’re absolutely correct. So I had to shell out a tenner for a taxi to take me there. 10 seconds later, and I would have had my seat given away. This was supposed to be the plane I am on all the way to San Francisco. Except I am told that they changed the flight, and after the scheduled stop in Pittsburgh, the flight is going to Phoenix. At Pittsburgh, at least, it was easy to get on the San Francisco bound flight. However, when I got to SFO, US Airways was trying to use one baggage claim device for all their incoming flights!!!! Beyond that, they must have lost half the luggage their passengers checked that day, because of the hundreds of people waiting for luggage, all of them were also waiting for the one person working in the US Airways baggage claim terminal window. So I still don’t have anything except for what was in my carry on. That’s all for now.

I told you I hoped you like living in the clothing you were wearing. d:
Suck they ate your clothing, good luck getting it back.

Look at it this way. If I don’t get it back, that’s 2 bags of crap I don’t own anymore. A big ol’ awesome to less stuff.

I’m slightly worried about my flight in August. Ideally I will only bring carry-on.

Where are you going in August? And why are you worried? Flying is safer than driving. Statistically speaking.

With driving I rarely lose my luggage, get accosted for carrying too much liquids, or become stuck in unfamiliar cities due to missed connections.

See, I hate flying too, but the way you worded it, I thought maybe you were worried about the act of flying itself, which doesn’t bother me. I also hate that you are cramped in tiny tiny seats, too small for potted plants, that they tell you that you’ve got a window or aisle seat, then force you into a center seat somewhere, and all that stuff you mentioned. You should take the train.
But, where are you going?
